This policy explains what personal information The Herb Garden collects when you visit herbgardenstore.com or order from us, how we use it, and the choices you have. "We" and "us" means The Herb Garden, Lahore, Pakistan.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, phone number, email address, delivery address, the products you order and how you pay.
- Payment details: for Cash on Delivery, the amount collected by the rider. For bank transfers, the transfer details and any proof of payment you send us. We do not collect card numbers.
- Messages: what you send us by email, through our contact form or on social media.
- Device and browsing information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you use the site. This is collected automatically through cookies and similar tools.
- Reviews: if you leave a review, your name and what you write.
- Sign-ups: your email address, if you join our mailing list.
How we use it
- To process, pack and deliver your order, and to contact you about it.
- To check orders for fraud, for example by comparing where an order was placed from with its delivery address, and to cancel orders that look fake.
- To answer your questions.
- To improve our website and products, and to understand how people use the site.
- To send you news and offers, if you have signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To show you our ads on other websites and apps, such as Facebook and Instagram.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting duties.
Who we share it with
We only share what each service needs to do its job:
- Shopify, which runs our online store and checkout. You can read Shopify's privacy policy.
- PostEx, our courier, which receives your name, phone number, address and the amount to collect.
- Banks, when you pay by bank transfer.
- Analytics and advertising partners, such as Google (Google Analytics) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), which receive browsing and purchase information through cookies and pixels.
- Apps that run parts of our store, such as Klaviyo and Seguno for emails and Judge.me for reviews.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our customers and our business, for example in cases of fraud.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
Cookies are small files saved by your browser. We use them to keep your cart and checkout working, to remember your preferences, and for analytics and advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site, such as the cart, may stop working.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for our accounts and our tax and legal duties. We keep mailing list details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Your choices
- You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
- You can unsubscribe from our emails using the link at the bottom of any email.

Our store and checkout run on Shopify, which encrypts your information as it travels to and from the site. No way of storing or sending information is completely secure, but we work to keep yours safe.
Children
Our website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you think a child has given us their information, email us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page.
