Our house blend brings ten ingredients together in one bottle, among them coconut, sweet almond, castor, olive and mustard oils with kalonji, onion, garlic and aloe vera. It’s a medium-weight oil with a warm, herbal scent, made for the weekly champi: massage it in, let it rest, then wash it out.

How to use
  1. Warm a coin-sized amount between your palms.
  2. Massage it into your scalp and through the lengths.
  3. Leave it for an hour or overnight, then wash it out.
Key ingredients
  • Coconut oil Softens dry lengths. Warmed between your palms, it softens dry lengths and adds shine.
  • Sweet almond oil Softens and smooths. Pressed from sweet almonds. Light and silky, it smooths through the lengths without weighing them down.
  • Castor oil Rich conditioning. Thick and glossy, it gives the blend its rich feel.
  • Olive oil Softens lengths. Pressed from olives. Rich and smooth on dry lengths.
  • Mustard oil Warming. The warming oil of the traditional champi.
  • Kalonji (black seed) Nourishes the scalp. Kalonji, also called black seed: a staple of Nani’s oiling.
  • Onion Conditions the scalp. Onion, the classic of the desi champi.
  • Garlic Traditional scalp care. Garlic, a traditional addition to hair oils.
  • Aloe vera Soothes and hydrates. The cool, clear gel from inside the aloe leaf.
